Chapter 10 - WHAT LEO SAW Dr. Hannah Reed refused to interrogate Leo.

He was four.
He didn't need to become a witness before he had learned how to process what happened.
Instead, she let him draw.
Blue crayon.
Black lines.
A rectangle.
A stick figure.
Then another smaller figure.
Jackson stared at the drawing.
"What's this?"
Leo pointed.
"Uncle Chad."
"And this?"
"Daddy papers."
Jackson felt his stomach tighten.
Claire examined the drawing without touching it.
"What did he do?"
Leo pushed the crayon across the paper.
"Put them here."
He drew a table.
Then underneath it.
Jackson and Claire exchanged a look.
Leo wasn't telling them a financial story.
He was remembering what he had seen.
That was enough.
The case was no longer about whether Chad had fabricated evidence.
May you like
It was about whether the evidence had been planted while Leo was watching.
And if so, everything changed.
