Every piece pointed toward him.
Then came the final connection.
Chad had downloaded a document titled:
MATERIAL ADVERSE EVENT — GAMING OPERATIONS
Four times.
The last download occurred two days before Leo's attack.
Claire looked at Jackson.
"He knew exactly what could kill your deal."
Jackson nodded.
"And exactly what would make me panic."
But one question remained.
Why would Chad risk terrifying a child?
The answer came from Chad himself.
