Outside the massive mansion gates police sirens began blaring in the distance.
Red and blue emergency lights flashed through the large stained glass windows.
The guests moved to the sides of the hall creating a path.
Evelyn looked around frantically trying to find one friend to help her.
Every single person turned their face away from her in absolute cold disgust.
Evelyn: Julian please listen to me for just one small minute!
Julian: You spent years pretending to be a loving devoted mother.
Evelyn: I did everything to protect our standing in high society!
Julian: You cared more about social status than our son's life!
Two uniform police officers entered through the grand front double entrance doors.
They walked directly down the marble hallway toward the broken drywall mess.
The lead officer looked at the sledgehammer and the shattered wall structure.
Officer: Who called emergency services regarding a trapped child at this location?
Julian: I called officer and my son was trapped inside that wall.
Officer: Is the young child safe and receiving proper medical attention now?
Julian: Yes he is in the kitchen resting with our maid.
Julian pointed directly toward his wife who stood trembling against the wall.
Julian: That woman locked him inside that small cavity several hours ago.
Evelyn: It was a terrible accident officer I swear to you!
Elena: It was no accident because she threatened me with firing!
The maid walked back into the room holding Toby's small hand tightly.
The little boy pointed his finger directly at his mother while crying softly.
Toby: She locked the metal hatch and turned off the light daddy.
Officer: Ma'am put your hands behind your back right now please.
Evelyn stepped back in complete shock as metallic handcuffs clicked loudly open.
