They thought he was just a helpless kid in a street market. Then the matte-black Ducati showed up.
Chap Ter 1 : Three armored SUVs trapped them underground. One blue glowing cylinder changed everything.

The metallic clang of the bowl still echoed through the stunned night market. For a breathless second, the carnival of neon lights and sizzling street food stood completely frozen in time. The tattooed brute lay sprawled in the dirt, clutching his bleeding nose, eyes wide with a mixture of shock and sudden, venomous rage. This wasn't over.
A heavy silence shattered as a low, guttural growl escaped the man’s throat. He spat a mouthful of crimson onto the dusty pavement, his heavily inked knuckles popping as he slowly forced himself upward. The surrounding crowd, previously cheering, now instinctively shrank back into the shadows. They recognized the lethal shift in his demeanor. The predator was awake.
"You little rat," the man hissed, his voice a razor-thin whisper that cut through the humid night air. He brushed the dust off his ruined white shirt, his dark eyes locking onto the boy with murderous intent. From the periphery of the market, three more figures detached themselves from the crowd, their silhouettes bulky and menacing under the flickering bulbs.
The boy, whose hoodie bore the cryptic letters 'Dtrdie', didn't flinch. He stood his ground, his icy blue eyes tracking the approaching thugs with the calculated precision of a seasoned veteran. He wasn't just a child lost in a night market; he was a weapon waiting to be unleashed. He slowly slid his hands into his pockets, waiting.
Suddenly, the deafening roar of a modified motorcycle engine tore through the market's entrance. A matte-black Ducati shattered the wooden barricades, sending sparks and splinters flying into the panicked crowd. The rider, clad entirely in dark leather, slammed on the brakes, the heavy machine sliding sideways to a halt exactly between the boy and the advancing men.
"Get in," a distorted voice commanded through the tinted helmet visor. The boy didn't hesitate. With practiced agility, he vaulted onto the back of the idling beast, wrapping his small arms around the rider. The tattooed man lunged forward with a furious roar, a concealed switchblade suddenly glinting menacingly in his heavily scarred right hand.
He was too late. The rider kicked the gearshift, and the Ducati erupted in a cloud of burning rubber and blinding white smoke. The back tire violently kicked up a storm of gravel, striking the tattooed man directly in the chest and sending him stumbling backward once again. The motorcycle launched forward, disappearing into the labyrinth of narrow alleyways.
The tattooed man punched a metal food stall, denting the aluminum panel with a sickening crunch. He pulled a burner phone from his pocket, his thumb smearing blood across the cracked screen. "Boss," he growled, watching the fading taillights of the motorcycle. "We found the package. And he's not alone anymore. Someone just pulled an extraction."
Miles away, inside a glass-walled penthouse overlooking the glittering skyline, a man in a tailored suit swirled whiskey in a crystal glass. He stared down at the sprawling city, a cold smile creeping across his face. "Mobilize the hounds," the boss replied softly, his voice echoing in the vast room. "Bring the boy to me alive. Burn the rider."
Back on the Ducati, the wind howled as they weaved through the dangerous midnight traffic. The boy leaned close to the rider's ear. "They know about the drive," he shouted over the roaring engine. The rider just nodded slightly, swerving violently to avoid a speeding truck. The neon blur of the city reflected on their helmets like digital ghosts.
"We need to get off the grid," the rider yelled back, turning sharply into a subterranean parking structure. The tires shrieked in protest as they descended deep into the concrete bowels of the city, leaving the flashing police sirens far above. They found a dark corner, killing the engine. The sudden silence was heavier than the noise.
The rider removed the helmet, revealing sharp features and tired, piercing eyes. It was a woman, her face marked by a fresh scar across her cheek. "You took a massive risk back there, Leo," she said, her tone sharp but laced with undeniable relief. "You were supposed to stay hidden. You almost compromised the entire operation."
Leo shrugged, his expression remaining perfectly stoic. "He was in my way, Sarah. And he was carrying a tracker. I saw the blinking light under his collar." He reached into his pocket and pulled out a crushed microchip, tossing it onto the concrete floor. Sarah stared at the broken device, her eyes widening in sudden realization.
"If he had a tracker... that means this location is already compromised," Sarah whispered, reaching for the heavy pistol holstered at her hip. Before she could even draw the weapon, the metal screech of the parking garage gates echoed through the empty structure. Three black SUVs slowly rolled down the ramp, their high beams cutting through the darkness.
"Run," Sarah commanded, her voice devoid of any panic. She racked the slide of her weapon, stepping out from behind the motorcycle to buy the boy some time. But Leo didn't move. He reached into his oversized black hoodie, pulling out a metallic cylinder that hummed with a strange, blue electrical current. The hunt was just beginning.

The lead SUV screeched to a halt, doors flying open before the tires even stopped spinning. Heavily armed mercenaries spilled out into the dim garage, their tactical boots hitting the concrete in chaotic unison. Laser sights painted the walls in erratic red streaks, frantically searching for their targets. Sarah fired twice, shattering the headlights of the nearest vehicle instantly.
Glass rained down like dangerous diamonds as the mercenaries scrambled for cover behind the armored doors. "Suppressing fire!" a gravelly voice bellowed from the darkness. A hail of bullets tore through the air, chewing up the concrete pillars where Sarah and Leo sought refuge. The deafening echo of automatic gunfire transformed the parking garage into a deadly echo chamber.
Leo remained eerily calm amidst the chaos. He twisted the top of the blue-glowing cylinder, waiting for the high-pitched whine to reach a crescendo. "Cover your eyes!" he yelled over the gunfire. He hurled the device over the concrete barrier. It rolled precisely under the center SUV before detonating in a blinding flash of electromagnetic fury.
The EMP blast was spectacular. Every light in the garage instantly shattered, plunging the entire subterranean level into absolute, suffocating darkness. The engines of the SUVs died with a pathetic sputtering sound, and the red laser sights of the mercenaries blinked out of existence. The tactical advantage had shifted in a fraction of a second.
"Move, now!" Sarah grabbed Leo’s shoulder, activating her night-vision goggles. They sprinted silently through the pitch-black labyrinth of concrete pillars and abandoned cars, moving like shadows escaping the abyss. Behind them, they could hear the panicked shouts of the blinded mercenaries, their heavy footsteps stumbling blindly through the dark in useless pursuit.
They reached a rusted maintenance door at the far end of the garage. Sarah kicked it open, revealing a narrow, damp utility tunnel illuminated only by flickering emergency lights. The air smelled of mold and old copper. As they slipped inside, a massive explosion shook the ground above them, raining dust and debris onto their shoulders.
"They blew the main entrance," Sarah coughed, securing the heavy iron door behind them with a rusty steel beam. "They aren't just trying to capture you anymore, Leo. They are trying to bury us alive. We need to reach the extraction point before they flood these tunnels with gas." Her grip tightened on her weapon.
Leo looked up at her, the flickering emergency lights casting long, sinister shadows across his youthful but hardened face. "The extraction point is three miles away, beneath the old subway lines. If they have the blueprints to this sector, they will be waiting for us at the junction." He spoke with the chilling calculation of a computer.

Sarah managed a grim smile, wiping a streak of soot from her forehead. "Then we don't go to the junction. We make our own path. Let's see if those structural engineering files you stole are actually worth dying for." They plunged deeper into the claustrophobic darkness, the distant echoes of their enemies slowly fading behind them.
High above, the tattooed man named Viper stood at the edge of the cratered parking garage entrance, surrounded by heavily armed guards. He stared into the smoking abyss, his broken nose crudely bandaged. His phone buzzed. It was the boss. Viper took a deep breath, preparing to deliver the bad news. The game had just escalated to warfare.
