Marital property divided according to agreement and applicable law.
Vanessa retained:
Her premarital investments.
Jewelry that was actually hers.
Her legal right to collect Grant’s loan.
She did not receive:
A controlling interest in Cole Meridian.
She had never owned one.
I retained the mansion.
I did not use custody of Noah as bargaining currency.
Family court addressed Noah separately.
Vanessa remained his biological mother.
Her parental rights were not automatically terminated by conviction.
Contact:
Suspended during incarceration except carefully reviewed indirect communication.
Future contact would depend on:
Noah’s welfare.
