Victoria had written:
“Admits inability to parent.”
The full context was different.
Isabel had been arguing with Victoria.
She meant:
“I can't have this conversation while you're screaming at me.”
Victoria had edited reality.
Collected moments.
Removed context.
Reassembled them.
Then presented the result as truth.
Finally, Victoria admitted:
“Yes. I created some of the evidence.”
“Why?”
She looked down.
“Because I needed people to see Isabel the way I saw her.”
“And how did you see her?”
Victoria whispered:
“As someone who could take everything away from me.”
That was the truth.
Not money.
Not the mansion.
Fear.
Victoria had confused losing control with losing her family.
The prosecutor asked:
“Did you believe Isabel was an immediate danger when you created those messages?”
Victoria said nothing.
Then:
“No.”
The room went silent.
