Rosalie returned to Villa Rizzano at forty-five as a guest.
Not staff.
She had become regional director for our hospitality group after years of independent promotion panels and performance reviews.
We held a retirement dinner for Michael Serra.
Rosalie attended.
Livia, now twenty, hugged her immediately.
“You saved my hair.”
Rosalie laughed.
“I failed at that.”
